Want to train with an energetic and supportive group and have loads of fun along the way? Well…welcome to the Baltimore Galloway Marathon/Half Marathon Training program! The Baltimore Galloway Marathon/Half Marathon Training program is a running/walking group designed to help beginners and veteran runners achieve their marathon and half-marathon goals. We are committed to providing a fun, safe and challenging environment to group members as they run/walk their way to success! Our program follows the principles of former Olympian, Jeff Galloway, whose “Run Injury Free” training process features frequent and systematic walk breaks. This training approach allows athletes of all fitness levels and abilities to accomplish, for many, a lifelong dream – to run/walk 13.1 or 26.2 miles and triumphantly cross the finish line! Here, in Baltimore, we have guided over 250 participants to complete one or more marathons and half marathons over the past five years. We train for all fall marathons and our program will begin again in early May! Our first group run of the season will be SATURDAY, MAY 10 - 7:15AM! You can do it too!
